We Are Looking For:

Junior Office Administrator (Permanent) - Apprentice Role

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to assist management in handing Tax rebate claims  and general office administration. The successful applicant will also help and assist with another connected business, that of Internet radio.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Tracking and processing Tax rebate claims
  • Checking repayment packs before submission to HMRC
  • Social media management (Facebook & Twitter)
  • Email campaign management
  • Handling telephone calls
  • Data recording and processing

The ideal candidate will be computer literate with some experience of Excel, Word and other office applications. Training and assistance will be provided in other areas.

Salary in accordance with apprentice rules. 21 days holiday plus statutory. 9:00 – 5:00pm (Mon – Fri). Closing date for applicants 22nd June. Interviews to take place 25th to 29th June, starting date planned for 2nd July.

Income Tax Clerk

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage and process all Tax rebate matters relating to the client. To minimising turn around time whilst maximising the Tax repayment position.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Managing Tax rebate claims from start to finish
  • Maximising Tax refunds claims by reviewing all allowances available
  • Advising the client on reliefs available for the future
  • Regular communication with the client and head office

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in UK Personal Tax, specifically Tax reliefs and allowances. You should be motivated, self-disciplined and well co-ordinated to deal with a range of Tax repayment clients.

Training can be provided, but only when the candidate already has proven experience with Personal Tax returns.
